The New Orleans Saints have been dealing with a problem all year, on and off, of course. They haven't had the best luck with their depth at the running back position. Of course, Alvin Kamara is still on the team, and is still one of the best in the league, but, players do get injured, and do need breaks every now and then.

Mark Ingram is not what he once was. He is great but is sometimes a step too slow. So, they brought in Latavius Murray, the former Saints running back. He was great, so great that he was signed by the Denver Broncos off of the Saints practice squad.

The Saints no longer have Murray or Tony Jones Jr., so they signed another running back to their practice squad.

On Wednesday, the Saints signed former Bears' running back Jordan Howard to their practice squad.

Howard spent the first three years of his career on the Chicago Bears, where he went on to total 3,370 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns. From there Howard played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Miami Dolphins.

Howard may not be what he used to be, but he will make a great depth piece, as he is a veteran.

The Saints' big issue was just fixed.
