The Las Vegas Raiders are finally getting all of their skill players back healthy. Yeah, it's too late, as Week 15 is approaching quickly. However, there is one good way to look at all of this.
The season isn't over, technically, but I think we all have a clue that this team won't be making the playoffs. So, from here on out, the season is about getting better, and building to get to where they want to be next season.
That can start with getting Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow back this week against the New England Patriots. The Raiders haven't had all of their skill position guys available at the same time since what feels like Week 2.
Now that those two are back, they can kind of see what the offense could look like next year with everyone healthy, and build on that.
"For me, I would love to be able to see what it could be like and if we can just start getting better and see what that looks like, Carr said. "See what it looks like when everyone's there and what we planned on it looking like. That would be nice, but it's the NFL, and it doesn't always work out that way."
I think Carr is going to love what this offense can do when everyone is healthy like they are supposed to be. I mean, just imagine, we get the Waller and Renfrow we know, with Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs.
That just doesn't seem fair to other teams' defenses. But, it starts with getting healthy and making sure everyone is bought into the system for next season.
I know Derek Carr is excited, and you should be too. Yeah, this season didn't go as planned, but next season can.
