There is one position group for the Philadelphia Eagles that may have their biggest test of the season on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
We all know that the Eagles have what is considered by many to be the best offensive line in football. I mean, the numbers don't lie, and neither does the eye test.
I mean they have one of the best centers in the league in Jason Kelce and the best tackle duos in the league in Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata.
But, every great position group can be faced with a challenge. On Sunday that could be the case as they face a fierce defensive front in Tennessee.
But, what makes Tennessee so good up front?
"Physicality, you know," Mailata said. "Those guys, four guys up front, and they are deep too in the D-line. So, yeah, we just have to match their physicality and their toughness."
This team knows how good the Titans are, and they saw them go head-to-head with the Kansas City Chiefs just a few weeks ago.
But, just because they know how good their opponent is doesn't mean they aren't excited about the challenge.
"Man I get excited for every D-line, man," Mailata continued. "It's just another chance to prove myself. It's a repetitive message of mine that I do every year; just to prove myself, and make sure all five guys up front are in sync, so, yeah man. I'm really excited for this Sunday."
Hurts has been sacked 28 times this season, which may seem like a lot, but it's 12 less than the most in the league.
The Titans have the 10th most sacks in the league with 31, so the Eagles' will definitely need to be on their Ps and Qs.
This Titans team may not seem like one of the better teams in the league, but they have beat some good teams and they have lost to some good ones as well.
Their pass rush is the real deal and could present some problems on Sunday, starting with Jeff Simmons.
