The Dallas Cowboys have their biggest test of the season so far this Sunday when they hit the road to take on the 5-0 Philadelphia Eagles.

Offensively, the Eagles have been flying high, putting up 400 yards or more in four of their five games, ranking second in yards, and fifth in rushing. This has made the Eagles' offense the talk of the NFL, but one Cowboys player has heard enough.

Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence has never been someone to bite his tongue. So, when he was repeatedly asked about what the Eagles bring to the table offensively, Lawrence didn't hold back.

"Y'all asking me questions like I should be worried about them," Lawrence said. "Never worried. Never scared. Never quivering from any situation. But I just want y'all to understand that we coming to play, too."

The biggest reason for the success of the Eagles' offense has been the progression of quarterback Jalen Hurts. Now in year three, Hurts looks a lot more comfortable in the pocket going through his reads and is making smart decisions with the football.

All that is fine and dandy, but Lawrence reminded everyone that this Sunday is a different test for Hurts from what he's seen in 2022 up to this point.

"Has he played us? All right," said Lawrence. "Different teams run different schemes. … All y'all need to write is he hasn't played the Cowboys yet, so we don't know how good is he."

Lawrence has plenty of reasons to have that confidence in the Cowboys' defense. No team has scored 20 points on the Cowboys, and they have also not allowed more than one touchdown in any game. Couple that with the Cowboys ranking second in sacks (20) and only yielding 14.4 points per game, and things will not be easy for the Eagles at home on Sunday.

The time for talking is almost done, and with first place in the NFC East at stake, Sunday is shaping up the be a barn burner between the Cowboys and Eagles.
