The Chicago Bears are set to host the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend for a huge NFL showdown.

Philadelphia looks like the best team in the NFL right now while the Bears are hoping to show that they aren't far away from competing in the NFC.

A win for Chicago on Sunday would go a long way in showing fans and media that the Bears are trending in the right direction.

But unfortunately for Chicago, they'll be without a key offensive player against the Eagles.

The Bears ruled out wide receiver Chase Claypool (knee) for Sunday's matchup against Philly.

Chicago head coach Matt Eberflus says he expects Claypool to play again this season, he just won't be playing against the Eagles.

The Bears acquired Claypool earlier this season in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chicago sent Pittsburgh a second-round pick in the deal, signaling that they expect Claypool to be a big part of the Bears' rebuild under Ryan Poles.

Claypool hasn't made a big impact so far with the Bears (12 receptions for 111 yards in five games), but that's mostly due to having to quickly learn a new offense. He's still a dynamic player that needs as many reps as possible with quarterback Justin Fields (which makes his absence on Sunday doubling concerning).

Wide receiver N'Keal Harry is another player that could be out against Philly. Harry is questionable for the game, though Eberflus is hopeful he can play.

There's no doubt that the Bears will have their hands full against the Eagles. And not having one of their top players certainly won't make things any easier.
