The New Orleans Saints have about as much of a "must-win" game on Thursday that you can possibly get in the NFL.

They sit at 2-4, but the Saints still have a chance at climbing back to the top of their division in the next few weeks.

In order to do that, they must beat the Arizona Cardinals.

QB Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have been very inconsistent on offense. That being said, they are getting back a key piece in WR DeAndre Hopkins this week.

Additionally, Murray is one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the league.

If you don't contain him, he will make you pay. There is one player for the Saints that should have a big task on Thursday.

That would be New Orleans linebacker Pete Werner.

Werner has been a revelation this season after a strong rookie campaign last year. He is the team's leading tackler and has been extremely consistent for a Saints' defense that has been inconsistent.

His value comes in his athleticism. Werner makes plays that few other linebackers can in the passing game, but he is also key in the pass rush.

If he isn't blitzing when the Saints send pressure, he is usually covering a QB's safety valve to get the ball away quickly.

Against the Cardinals, expect Werner to be the "spy" for Kyler Murray.

In order to have success against Arizona, you cannot allow Murray to control the pocket. He is much too mobile and talented to give him free reign.

Accordingly, the Saints must have their best option keep an eye on Murray throughout the game.
