Micah Parsons dominates Saints

The Dallas Cowboys have ended their rough stretch where they have played their last three games in 12 days.

After their 10 point win over the Las Vegas Raiders, the Cowboys will now be able to get a bit of a break.

There were some good and bad to take away from this game as the Cowboys improve to 8-4 on the season.

Here are three observations to take away from their win on Thursday night.

Demarcus Lawrence shows he was surely missed

Demarcus Lawrence showed up and out in his first game back on the field since week one against the Buccaneers.

While he only finished with two tackles, he was constantly in the backfield with a team-high six pressures.

He could have a sack-fumble but ruled an incomplete pass as Saints QB Taysom Hill's arm was going forward.

He made his presence felt, which has given Dallas an extra player that can wreak havoc in the backfield.

With now five games left to go, his leadership and playmaking ability will be crucial as Dallas looks to lock up a playoff spot.

Opposing defensives will have to game plan for him weekly, which will free up more players to make plays.

As long as Lawrence can remain healthy, the Dallas defense will be better down the stretch.

Micah Parsons cannot be denied

Imagine the Dallas defense without the impact and presence of Micah Parsons.

Arguably the front-runner for Defensive Rookie of the Year, he has been the best defensive player over the past month.

Over the past five games, he has piled up 30 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles as he has made everyone around him better.

He has become the "war daddy" Owner Jerry Jones has been anxious to have on defense.

Undoubtedly, he has been the enforcer as a ROOKIE and now in the running for Defensive Player of the Year.

If Parsons can keep this current pace, he will be in talks as one of the greatest rookie seasons in history.

Dak Prescott not 100%?

Dak Prescott has had a great year and is a big reason for Dallas's 8-4 start.

Since injuring his calf against the Patriots, he has not been as sharp.

The entire month of November, Prescott struggled with his accuracy, footwork and has refused to see the field.

Many fans and critics believe that he is still not fully recovered from his injury as it shows on the field.

At times, he has made some unbelievable throws that still show why he is the 40 million dollar man.

Other times, he looks off, is not mentally focused, and is scared of taking off to run for first downs.

Dak has dealt with adversity his entire life and we all know he can get back to playing as he did during his 6-game win streak.
