Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has quickly established himself this season as one of the best players in college football.
The former four-star recruit has soared past any reasonable expectations that anyone could've had for him this season.
Hyatt is currently No. 7 in the nation in receiving yards. He leads the SEC in receiving by nearly 200 yards. And he has the most receiving touchdowns in the country.
Can you say elite?

Surprisingly, it seems like not everyone is overly impressed with Hyatt.
Pro Football Focus released their mid-season All-American team last week and they didn't have Hyatt on the first team.
They didn't have him on the second team, either.
Nor did they have him on the third team.
Instead, Hyatt was an honorable mention.
Nine wide receivers were listed in total on the first, second, and third All-American teams and Hyatt was on none of them.
Now, I get that this team was put out there before Hyatt's seven receptions for 174 yards and two touchdowns this past Saturday against UT-Martin. Maybe they've changed their mind by now.
But Hyatt was already a household name after what he did against Alabama on October 15 in Knoxville (PFF released their mid-season All-American teams on October 18).
Hyatt's 207 receiving yards and five touchdowns against a Nick Saban-coached Alabama team should've been enough to have him listed on the first team if we're being honest.
(You could take away Hyatt's 174 yards against UT-Martin and he'd still lead the SEC in receiving yards…he'd also have just three fewer receiving yards than Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr, who was listed on the first team.)
Pro Football Focus does great work — especially when it comes to the NFL — but they missed the mark badly on this one.
This is beyond embarrassing for them. It's disrespectful to a great player who is playing at an unreal level right now thanks to a lot of hard work.
