Nebraska head coach Scott Frost sealed his own fate with ridiculous quote

No one's seat in college football is hotter right now than Nebraska's Scott Frost.
Frost, who is entering his fourth year as the Cornhuskers head coach, got off to a miserable start in 2021, as his team lost their season-opener 30-22 to Illinois this past weekend.
The former Nebraska quarterback is now 12-21 through 33 games in Lincoln.
That's obviously not what the Cornhuskers were expecting when they hired Frost away from UCF in late 2017.
At this point, it feels like it's just a matter of time until Frost is fired at Nebraska.
Especially after what Frost admitted on Monday.
While recapping the Illinois loss, Frost made a stunning admission.
"About half of our game plan was out the window when they (Illinois offense) lined up how they did," said Frost on Monday.
That is not something you expect a competent head coach to say.
Even if there's some truth to it, it's not something a head coach should ever say publicly.
And there's also the fact that Frost and his coaching staff should've made adjustments. It's not like Nebraska was facing some crazy innovative offense. Illinois offensive coordinator Tony Peterson is a journeyman assistant that has spent time recently at Appalachian State, East Carolina, Missouri, and Louisiana Tech.
It's clear that Frost is in over his head. And his quote on Monday proves it. He's totally lost right now and there's little chance he manages to find his way out of the mess he's created at his alma mater.
