The Super Bowl has once again passed, so it is officially draft season for every NFL team and fan alike. The Dallas Cowboys have 10 total draft picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. That can really change the dynamics of a roster. After this year's struggles on defense, many expect them to address that side of the ball early and often in this year's draft. They could also look to add a couple of defensive free agent pieces, but we cannot project who those will be for right now. So, let's get into some prospects that Dallas could look at in the first three rounds.

Round 1, Pick 10: Caleb Farley, Cornerback, Virginia Tech

Veteran CBs like Richard Sherman and Patrick Peterson are being mentioned as possible older, more seasoned additions to the Dallas secondary. Unfortunately, Chidobe Awuzie will probably get paid more to play elsewhere as well, so the hole in the secondary may get bigger regardless. If they don't go the veteran route, another Cornerback beside Trevon Diggs will be high on their list of needs. That's where someone like Farley steps in. The V-Tech product is a consensus top two CB in this class along with Alabama's Patrick Surtain II. At 6'2", Farley presents the prototypical size of a top Cornerback that Dan Quinn prefers in his defense. He has all of the physical traits imaginable. His physicality is very impressive, and he is one of the stickiest CBs in man coverage in this draft class. Farley and Diggs would be a fun combo!

Round 2, Pick 42: Levi Onwuzurike, Interior Defensive Lineman, Washington

Next, there's Levi Onwuzurike. This fella is one of draft Twitter's favorite defensive prospects right now. On the inside of the line, Levi is explosive and presents awesome athleticism at his size. His game is all about disruption. At this time, the Cowboys only have two defensive tackles under contract for next year. Those two are second-year player Neville Gallimore and Eli Ankou, who fits more of a nose tackle role. That will probably change by April, but it is something to watch. Onwuzurike is a really solid pass rusher already and would make an impact immediately for Dallas.

Round 3, Pick 74: Joshuah Bledsoe, Safety, Missouri

Bledsoe roamed the field a lot for the Tigers. He took reps at nickel back while also playing some hybrid Linebacker/Safety roles in other packages. Bledsoe's willing to do the dirty work in the running game and showed a great motor at Mizzou. Dallas desperately needs depth in its young secondary. Bledsoe provides that while also possibly improving the play of the linebacker group. He doesn't project as much of a single-high free safety, but the Cowboys could address that in other ways. Bledsoe showed stints of impressive coverage in college, though.

Round 3, Pick 99: Brady Christensen, Offensive Tackle, BYU

Finally, we have BYU Quarterback Zach Wilson's right-hand man. Christensen played Left Tackle in protection of the consensus top-ten pick and showed some really exciting flashes during his college career. He projects to the NFL level as a very strong depth offensive tackle on either side or a starting guard in certain schemes. For Dallas, he could most likely fill either of those roles – depending on what they ask of him. With the injuries that have plagued parts of the Cowboys' offensive line, Christensen would be a nice piece to have on the roster.

The beloved selection day is just over a couple of months away, so a lot could change before then. Regardless, it sounds like these guys are moving up draft boards across the league, and they fit the current needs of America's team. One thing is for certain – Dallas will be busy on draft night!
