Tennessee Titans fans are accustomed to their favorite team being ignored by the national media, so NFL.com's latest playoff predictions shouldn't come as a surprise.

NFL.com has the Indianapolis Colts winning the AFC South this season instead of the Titans.

Tennessee has won the division two years in a row.

From NFL.com:

With the pain of a Week 18 collapse engrained in their memory all offseason, the Colts ditched Carson Wentz and brought in Matt Ryan. Now with a veteran quarterback who can still produce at 37 years old, an explosive run game and a top-10 scoring defense from a year ago, Indianapolis climbs to the top of the division for the first time since 2014.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (17) talks with tight end Austin Hooper (81) during a joint training camp practice against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, in Nashville, Tenn. Nas 0818 Titans Bucs 006

The Colts winning the AFC South isn't an absurd thought. Indianapolis improved this offseason by trading for quarterback Matt Ryan — an upgrade over Carson Wentz.

But for the last two years, this has been the Titans' division. And despite the loss of wide receiver AJ Brown, there's no reason to think that Tennessee won't capture the division title once again.

Remember, the Titans were the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC last season despite not having Derrick Henry for the final half of the season. Plus the team dealt with a ridiculous amount of injuries. If Tennessee made it through last season and stood above teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills heading into the playoffs, why should anyone think 2022 will be any different?

(Yes, the Harold Landry injury certainly hurts, but I still like the Titans' odds this season.)

Mike Vrabel has quickly proved to be one of the best coaches in the NFL. He should've earned the benefit of the doubt by now.

But I guess he'll have to win the AFC South one more time before that's the case.
