After finishing 9-7 and narrowly missing out on the playoffs for the second time in three seasons, it is essential that the Titans have a productive off-season to give them the extra boost they so desperately need.

The Titans have several positions that need to be addressed throughout free agency and the draft, most notably pass rusher, interior offensive line, interior defensive line, and wide receiver.

The Senior Bowl is major opportunity that the league and fans alike have to watch players compete outside of their college systems and under the guidance of current NFL head coaches.

Here are five players that Titans fans should keep an eye out for while watching the Senior Bowl:

Montez Sweat, DE/OLB, Miss. St.

Don't be surprised if Montez Sweat becomes a hot name for Titans in mock drafts. Bleacher Report's Matt Miller already mocked Sweat to the Titans in the first round.

In Tennessee, Sweat would likely move to OLB and pair with Harold Landry to give the Titans a young, dynamic duo to rush the two prolific passers of the AFC South (Andrew Luck and Deshaun Watson).

In his final season at Miss. St. Sweat compiled 53 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks in 13 games.

Sweat was also named All-SEC First Team after his dominant season for the Bulldogs.

Will Grier, QB, West Virginia

The Titans are in an interesting position at quarterback. While Marcus Mariota seems to be absolutely set in stone as the starting QB heading into next season, and rightfully so, the team can no longer afford to rely on Mariota to be healthy when needed.

Will Grier came into the 2018 season with high expectations. He was supposed to be a Heisman candidate, but he certainly fell short of those expectations. However, he did still manage to throw for 3,864 yards, 37 TD's, 8 INT's, and a 67% completion percentage.

As of now, several analysts have Grier as a first round pick, but I just don't see it. With proven players like Nick Foles and Joe Flacco available to acquire and other QB's, such as Kyler Murray and Dwayne Haskins, expected to be high picks, I could easily see Grier falling in the draft.

Do the Titans have greater needs than backup quarterback? Absolutely. But it's hard to pass up a good, young quarterback with potential if he slides in the draft.

Plus, I'm willing to bet that most of you would rather have watched Grier suit up against Indianapolis than Blaine Gabbert.

Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina

If 2018 showed the Titans anything, it's that Mariota needs more effective weapons to be a successful quarterback. Corey Davis took steps in the right direction last season, but the team never recovered from the losses of Rishard Matthews and Delanie Walker early in the season.

Deebo Samuel could be a player to help fill that need. In 2018 he totaled 62 receptions, 882 yards, and 11 TD's. He was also named First Team All-American and First Team All-SEC.

I don't see the Titans using a first round pick on Samuel, however he would be enticing if he is still on the board in the second round for the Titans.

Samuel's draft projections are all over the place, but on average he seems to be a second round pick.

Ross Pierschbacher, Interior OL, Alabama

Wide receiver was definitely a weakness for the Titans in 2018, but the interior offensive line was just as inconsistent.

General Manager Jon Robinson optimistically awarded RG Josh Kline a large, multi-year contract, which ended up being a bad decision. However, Robinson also gave himself a way out the costly contract, giving the Titans a chance to improve the position in the off-season.

This is where Ross Pierschbacher comes into play. The former Alabama starter has experience playing both Guard and Center at 'Bama, which is significant considering the game of musical chairs the Titans seemed to be playing at times with their offensive line last season.

Pierschbacher was named Second Team All-SEC as a Center for his part in the Tide's explosive 2018 offensive.

He appears to be projected as a late day-two to early day-three selection. He is the kind of mid-round pick that could really improve the offensive line as a whole.

Hunter Renfrow, WR, Clemson

I know what you're thinking- wait, Hunter Renforw is still in college? Yes, although it seems like Renfrow has been making big catches in key moments forever now, he is just now entering the NFL.

While the Clemson product isn't the blazing outside receiver many think the Titans need to target, he is a reliable receiver. After the offensive woes of 2018, Mariota would likely be thrilled to have a weapon who could make key third down catches.

Last season Renfrow caught 49 passes for 544 yards and a touchdown. While this is a far cry from Deebo Samuel's stat line (or other top receivers in the draft) he is still a player to keep an eye on.

Along with Pierschbacher, Renfrow is a mid-to-late round pick who could make an immediate impact for the Titans struggling offense, especially if they miss out on a receiver in the first few rounds.
