HOUSTON — Running back Derrick Henry added another line to a budding Hall-of-Fame resumé on Sunday. In an outing that saw rookie quarterback Malik Willis forced into action due to injury and illness, Henry broke the Tennessee Titans (5-2) franchise all-time touchdown record (75).
Just a casual fourth-straight 200+ yard rushingperformance against the Houston Texans (1-5-1) for the one they call "King."
It would not have mattered who started at quarterback for Tennessee in Houston. Henry battered the NFL's worst rushing defense so badly that the Titans felt the need to have Willis attempt only one pass in an entire second half of play.
Henry's career is filled with performances like this
The latest victory over the woeful Texans was Henry's sixth 200-yard rushing game.

"(The offensive line) are the ones who made it happen," Henry said postgame. "I would hope that they take pride in it because, without them, I wouldn't have the success that I've had. Our relationship, the way that we come together and stick together through any adversity. I told them I've got their back and they've got my back."
No player in NFL history has more than six such games.
It ties the all-time league record and vaults Henry into the same career company as O.J. Simpson and Adrian Peterson. Simpson has a coveted gold jacket and Peterson has as good a shot as anyone to join him whenever he finally retires. Depending on how long Henry lasts in the NFL, he's well on his way to surpassing both of them.
Henry finished the day racking up 219 yards on the ground on 32 attempts for a 6.8 per carry average.
Willis debut went about as expected

There were always going to be plays from Willis in his first career start that would make anyone watching cringe.
Fortunately for him, Henry and the Titans defense completely took over. Willis' debut was marred by hesitation and inaccuracy. It also happened to be more than enough for Tennessee to cruise with relative ease. Henry's dominance allowed Willis plenty of room to make mistakes without derailing the team's effort.
"It was cool," Willis said of being along for the Henry ride. "It was really cool to see one of the premier guys in the NFL on my team just kind of take over a football game. He was like 'They can't stop me. They can't stop me.' It's cool to see that, because they weren't stopping him.
Willis attempted only 10 forward passes in four quarters of football for the Titans.
The rookie finished the contest completing six of those attempts for 55 yards and interception. He was sacked three times for a total of 15 yards lost and carried the ball another five times for another 12 total rushing.
Willis was the story. Henry took over the game.
