Former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher is officially back in football.

Fisher is set to coach the Michigan Panthers in the newly rebooted USFL.

Fisher hasn't coached since 2016 when he was fired by the Los Angeles Rams (though he served as an advisor at Tennessee State in 2021).

The USFL is returning after a 36-year hiatus. There will be eight teams and all games in the 2022 season will be played at Legion Field and Protective Stadium in Birmingham, AL.

The season will start on April 16 and the championship will be played in mid-July.

Each team will be playing 10 regular-season games, which means no 7-9 jokes for Fisher.
