The Tennessee Titans have a few big decisions to make on free agents of their own. Will they re-sign Harold Landry, Jayon Brown, Ben Jones, among others? Only time will tell. Regardless, there are a few free agents around the league that make sense for the Titans to go after during free agency.
Gerald Everett, Tight End
Tennessee currently doesn't have a TE on the roster for next season. Everett isn't a splash signing at the position, but he is a consistent player. He has been a part of some solid tight end duos over the past few years, and he won't be overly expensive. The Titans won't have too much money to spend on free agents, especially if they do bring back Harold Landry or Ben Jones. Everett is a safe add for an offense that needs more talent at TE.
Bryce Callahan, Cornerback
Callahan has been one of the most underrated defensive backs in the league for a couple of years. At 30 years old, Callahan may not be too expensive, and a team could probably sign him to a two or three-year deal. It wouldn't be an aggressive move for the long-term, but the Titans could use the depth in the secondary. A CB room of Callahan, Kristian Fulton, and Elijah Molden is impressive and still very young. The Titans could even add another CB in the draft and could keep around the veteran Janoris Jenkins, too.
Jamison Crowder, Wide Receiver
The Titans may target a WR early in the NFL draft in order to create more depth alongside A.J. Brown and Julio Jones. Either way, Crowder is an affordable option who is still playing some good ball. Crowder, at 29 to begin the season, still has plenty left in the tank. Signing him to a deal for two or three years would make plenty of sense. He can still stretch the field at this stage of his career, and another downfield option for Ryan Tannehill would be really useful next year.
There are plenty of names that will get buzz for the Titans during this off-season. They need depth at a plethora of positions. The scary cap is an obstacle, but they can certainly make it work to add some talent to the roster for a hopeful playoff run.
