Tennessee Titans joint practices are fun. It's an opportunity to size up the Titans starters who won't play in the preseason against an opposing roster. It's a great test.

Especially when it's against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs are not just one of the best team in the NFL, they roster a number of familiar faces. That includes safety Logan Ryan, who is a former CB with the Titans who spent time in Tennessee from 2017-2019.

While Ryan had a solid tenure with Titans (including a four interception season in 2019), there is no love lost between him and Titans fans after Ryan dissed the fanbase in a press conference last year.

"I've played for a franchise where the fanbase was non-existent," Ryan told the New York Giants media. "You couldn’t even get fans to the game, you had to put tickets half off to get fans to the game.”

Well, Titans fans will be happy to know that not one, but two Titans rookies took it to Ryan during joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday.

It started during the 1-on-1's period:

Clearly, Ryan hasn't been watching Kyle Philips tape from training camp. The man is shifty.

And as if things couldn't get worse, Titans rookie running back Hassan Haskins caught a pass in the flats during team 11-on-11 reps, and delivered a big hit on Ryan that landed him on his backside and shook the whole sideline.

(Unfortunately, team period is unavailable for filming, so no media members obtained a video.)

Haskins has continued to impress me with his growth throughout training camp. After a nice showing as a pass catcher in Baltimore, his stock has continued to rise in a week of joint practices.

He runs hard with no fear of contact, and is also a willing and good blocker in pass protection, helping him chip blocks and get into routes easier.

Haskins caught multiple passes during live team periods today, including a 15-yard touchdown from Ryan Tannehill on a designed roll-out.

Any time a rookie shines, it's good news for Titans fans, but getting a shot in on Ryan has to make you feel good too.
