Tennessee Titans linebacker Rashaan Evans doesn't want to see Derrick Henry leave Nashville.

The former Alabama defender is doing what he can to convince the Titans to re-sign Henry, who led the league in rushing yards in 2019.

Evans recently appeared on the "Rapsheet and Friends" podcast and talked about his efforts to drop hints around the complex, saying "I’ve been working out there, but every time I see those coaches I always give them a little hint like, ‘Hey, you know we need that monster back there. You do know that, right?'"

Evans added "What other decision do you have to make to extend that man? I’m really looking forward and excited to him being able to get paid, to get paid for all the great things that he’s done for the organization. It’s definitely due to him."

Titans general manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Vrabel have each indicated that the team wants Henry back in Nashville.

Now it's just a matter of getting a deal done before the start of free agency. If a deal isn't reached, the Titans can place the franchise tag on Henry (the deadline for placing the franchise tag on a player is March 12).

Considering the impact Henry had on Tennessee's offense last season, I'd be shocked if he isn't in two-tone blue once again in 2020.
