Former Tennessee Vols defensive back Theo Jackson is already standing out for the Tennessee Titans during OTAs.
Jackson, a Nashville native, was selected by the Titans in the sixth round (No. 204 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Jackson saw plenty of reps at safety on Tuesday during Tennessee's OTAs with veteran safety Kevin Byard not in attendance.
The former Vol has a big opportunity with the Titans in 2022. Tennessee is thin at safety. And as a team that runs a lot of three safety sets, there should be plenty of chances for Jackson to make an impact as a rookie.
Numerous NFL draft analysts were surprised when the Titans "reached" for Jackson in the sixth round (he was projected to go undrafted). But it appears that Tennessee may have found a hidden gem on day three of the draft.
