Not long after the Cincinnati Bengals lost Super Bowl LVI to the Los Angeles Rams, a stat surfaced that suggested Joe Burrow will never make it back to the Super Bowl.

According to CBS Sports, the last 16 quarterbacks to lose in their Super Bowl debut never made it back to the big game as a starter.

While what happened to those 16 quarterbacks is concerning, it's not relevant to Burrow and the Bengals at all.

That's probably why Cincinnati wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is feeling pretty confident about returning to the Super Bowl with Burrow.

Chase appeared on the I am Athlete show this week and was asked about the possibility of not returning to the Super Bowl.

"I feel like I got a chance (to get back to the Super Bowl)," said Chase. "I feel like I got multiple chances, now that I have my same quarterback from college. It happened before, it can happen again."

It certainly feels as though the Bengals should make multiple trips back to the Super Bowl. But there's no guarantee that will happen.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers, a future Hall of Famer, hasn't returned to the Super Bowl since winning it in early 2011. While I don't think that will be the case with Burrow, Chase, and the Bengals, it's at least a possibility that has to be considered.

Fortunately for Cincinnati fans, it looks like the franchise is doing everything they can to make sure this team has a legitimate shot to get back to the Super Bowl. The Bengals went big in free agency, signing three offensive linemen to lucrative deals to help protect Burrow.

If anyone can break the streak of quarterbacks who lost their Super Bowl debut not making it back, it's Burrow. I don't rule anything out when it comes to the former LSU star.
