Well, that didn't last long. The Tennessee Titans are releasing Julio Jones after just one season with the team. It comes just one off-season after they traded a 2022 second-round pick and 2023 fourth-round pick for the veteran wide receiver. The release once again leaves a gaping hole at WR2 on the depth chart for the Titans. Will they fill that void in free agency? The NFL Draft? Only time will tell. There are quite a few intriguing WR options on the market still, though.
Jarvis Landry
Landry probably comes at a cheaper price than Odell Beckham Jr., who is next on this list. Landry has lost a bit of a step for top-end speed, but he is still a very good WR2 option for most any team. He would provide a safe, underneath option for Ryan Tannehill. Not to mention, the Titans have not made a splash signing at tight end, so they could use more targets at or close to the line of scrimmage. At 29, Landry could definitely still have at least a couple of productive seasons left in him.
Odell Beckham Jr.
The reigning Super Bowl Champion receiver has had a pretty quiet market seemingly so far, but it is sure to heat up soon. Beckham Jr. rejuvenated his stock as a player after getting dealt to the LA Rams last season. Unfortunately, a bounce-back campaign ended a half too early when he tore his ACL in the Super Bowl. Regardless, everyone knows his talent. His price probably won't fluctuate too much due to the injury. He would make plenty of sense to pair up with A.J. Brown as well as Nick Westbrook-Ikhine as well as possibly a rookie as the top four receivers in Tennessee.
Jamison Crowder
Crowder may be the option with the best value. He has sneakily been a secure, productive target over the last handful of seasons when he has been healthy. That is the biggest question with him, though. Can he stay on the field? Injury concerns could cause him to sign a pretty short-term/cheap deal during this free agency cycle. If that's the case, the Titans should take a swing on him as a depth receiver. Adding him certainly wouldn't solve all their pass-catching depth woes, but it would be a nice addition to the WR room.
The Titans may not sign any of these guys, but they should be on their radar as well as the idea of drafting a wide receiver early in the draft.
