Luttrell might only be a three-star recruit, but his film says he has what it takes to play safety in the SEC. He's a hard hitter who plays the game with a lot of energy.
And speaking of energy, Luttrell was actually called "Mr. Energy" earlier this spring by Rivals.com national recruiting analyst Ryan Wright.
Luttrell was a pest against receivers, getting great jams and opening his hips covering any and all opponents. Besides taking as many reps as possible on defense, he flipped the script taking reps at receiver. Lining up on the other side of the ball allowed Luttrell to show just how athletic he is looking the part of a FBS receiver as well.
It sounds like Luttrell has the potential to be a player for the Vols that drives opposing coaches mad. And that should certainly make Tennessee fans smile.
