The Tennessee Vols are set to take on the Missouri Tigers on Saturday in Neyland Stadium at 12:00 PM ET.

Tennessee is no longer undefeated after a 27-13 loss to Georgia in Athens last weekend, but the Vols can still reach the College Football Playoff if they finish the regular season with an 11-1 record.

For now, though, all that matters for Tennessee is Missouri, a team the Vols beat 62-24 on the road last season.

On Tuesday, Mizzou head coach Eliah Drinkwitz met with reporters to discuss the Tigers' matchup against Tennessee.

"We're playing a top-five team on the road who's playing at a high level," said Drinkwitz on Tuesday. "Their quarterback is playing at a Heisman level. They've got unbelievable skill players. Some of their wide receivers — not some, all three of their wide receivers — are extremely electric. Jalin Hyatt might be the best wide receiver in the country. Obviously, Cedric Tillman is a really good player also. Jabari Small at running and Jaylen Wright at running back are both very dynamic."

"Their offenisive line presents problems," added Drinkwtiz. "They have a dynamic scheme. Between Coach (Josh) Heupel and Coach (Alex) Golesh they do a tremendous job of putting their players in a position to be successful."

Drinkwitz also pointed out the experience of Tennessee's defense, noting that most of the Vols' starters are upperclassmen and play a physical style of defense.

"They play very physically," said Drinkwitz of the Vols' defense. "They're downhill and so it's going to be a real challenge for our football team and we're excited about that challenge excited. We are excited about going on the road and matching up against a really good Tennessee Volunteer football team."

When asked what makes the Vols' offense so effective, Drinkwitz noted that Tennessee likes to "attack".

"They attack," said Drinkwitz. "They use all three of the 53 ⅓ yards wide of the field spacing to create one on one matchups. They have very good vertical speed. So, that puts your defensive players in a bad position. Do they (Missouri's defensive backs) play tight press and give themselves vertical shots? Do they play deep and throw it underneath and need to make tackles? So, it's a challenging scheme combined with challenging players. And that's when it's really at its best."

Drinkwitz also pointed out that UT runs the ball realy well.

"Yeah, they’re really good at running the football," noted Drinkwitz. "Obviously, they have a quarterback who has the ability to run combined with a running back, and again if you decide to spread out to match their spacing and you create vertical seams in the run game and they do a really nice job of exploiting those. Like I said they have some really good running backs and Hendon (Hooker) himself is a really good dynamic runner and they utilize both some inside schemes, but also zone-read schemes to give the quarterback the freedom to pull it in."

"Again, if you're playing a single high defense here your secondary player is in the middle of the field which is a long way for him to go to make tackles. If you're in a cover zero they’re going to throw the ball by us."

It certainly sounds like Drinkwitz views this game as a big challenge for the Tigers. He'll have his team ready to go. The Vols will have to make sure they don't let the Gergia loss impact how they play against Missouri.
