Tennessee Vols legend Peyton Manning is 100 percent a "football guy".
But that doesn't mean he can't try his hand at other sports from time to time.
The two-time Super Bowl winner, along with current Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, took some swings on Thursday before the Colorado Rockies' home game against the Cleveland Guardians.
And let's just say it's a good thing that Peyton chose football over baseball.
That looks like a swing you'd see at a church league softball game. To be fair, I don't think I would've done any better. But I was a professional athlete in exactly zero sports. Expectations for Peyton are understandably a bit higher.
Wilson's swing, on the other hand, looked legit.
Wilson played college baseball at NC State and he was drafted by the Rockies in 2010. He played a couple of years in the minor leagues before landing at Wisconsin and eventually in the NFL. In other words, it's not a surprise he has a great swing.
Oddly enough, Wilson's pro baseball rights are held by the New York Yankees.
Peyton, by the way, played baseball in high school in New Orleans, but that's as far as his baseball career went — unlike his former Tennessee football teammate, Todd Helton, who went on to reach five MLB All-Star games.
