For the second time this season, ESPN's "A Team" will be on the call for a Tennessee Vols game.

Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler will be in the booth in Columbia on Saturday for the Vols' matchup against the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Earlier this season, Herbstreit and Fowler called Tennessee's 44-6 win against the Kentucky Wildcats.

It seems like there are mixed opinions among Tennessee fans when it comes to Herbstreit and Fowler.

And I can certainly understand why. Herbstreit is never slow to slight the Vols. And UT fans haven't forgotten about Fowler's "trailer park frenzy" comments directed at Tennessee fans when Peyton Manning came in second place in the 1997 Heisman Trophy race.

But regardless of how you feel about Herbstreit and Fowler, there's no doubt they bring a big-game feel to broadcasts.

For years it felt like Tennessee was relegated to the noon SEC Network game or the 4:00 PM ET game (there's typically a non-marquee matchup in that time slot).

But things have changed this season. The Vols have been on CBS four times (three times in the 3:30 PM ET time slot) and this is their second time this season with ESPN's top broadcast team.

The exposure of being the "big game" is something that should be beneficial for Tennessee when it comes to recruiting.

Of course, the most important thing for the Vols on Saturday night in Columbia is to win the game — their College Football Playoff hopes depend on it.
