Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin had a hilarious answer on Monday in response to a question about hot seat chatter.

Kiffin, of course, is nowhere close to the hot seat. The former Tennessee Vols head coach has the Rebels ranked No. 9 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. He's done a tremendous job in Oxford so far.

The question Kiffin was asked was about Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin.

Auburn and Ole Miss play this weekend and a Tigers loss could spell the end of Harsin's time as the program's head coach.

Kiffin was asked by a reporter about the challenge of keeping a team focused while being on the hot seat (Kiffin was fired at USC in 2013 after starting 3-2).

"Well I didn't do very good, I got fired after five games so I'm probably not the one to ask how to do that," quipped Kiffin. "I mean I was 3-2, so, I'm probably not the right one to ask that."

You can say what you want about Kiffin — and I know plenty of Tennessee fans are still rightfully sour about the way he left Knoxville in early 2010 — but he always gives candid responses to reporters. And I think that's something we can all appreciate in a sport that's typically littered with cliché answers from head coaches.
