Tennessee Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker isn't a big trash talker — at least not publicly — but he didn't hesitate to respond this week to a Georgia Bulldogs defender who was talking smack on Instagram.

Georgia defensive lineman Warren Brinson took to Instagram to talk some trash after the Bulldogs' 27-13 win over Tennessee.

Brinson, who has 11 tackles and one sack this season, posted some photos/video on Instagram from the game against Tennessee with the caption "They was the Top Opp, Shi got Rocky So We Took Off They Top".

I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I'm pretty sure it's a shot at Tennessee.

Hooker must've felt the same because he commented on the post, saying "we gone see bout it next go round".

There's a decent chance that Tennessee and Georgia will see each other in the College Football Playoff later this season.

If the Vols are the No. 4 seed and Georgia is the No. 1 seed, the two programs would meet in Atlanta in the Peach Bowl in a College Football Playoff semifinal game (a matchup between Tennessee and Georgia in Atlanta in the playoff would be a dream for college football).

The Bulldogs handled the Vols in Athens, but a matchup on a neutral field (yes it's Atlanta, but a playoff game would be a somewhat evenly split crowd since UT fans travel as well as any fan base in the nation) could be a tighter game.

Georgia dominated the line of scrimmage this past weekend, which was the big difference in the game. But had the Vols been able to protect Hoooker, it could've been a much different game. UT had receivers consistently open down the field (UGA did a good job, but if you rewatch the game, Tennessee had guys running free on numerous plays).

Regardless of what happens the rest of the season, it's clear that Hooker wants another shot at the Bulldogs this season.

And let's hope for college football's sake he gets that opportunity.
