A key player from one of the Tennessee Vols' SEC East rivals hit the transfer portal on Monday.
South Carolina Gamecocks running back MarShawn Lloyd entered the transfer portal on Monday according to On3.
Lloyd, a redshirt sophomore, played in only nine games in 2022 due to injuries. In those nine games, Lloyd rushed for 573 yards and nine touchdowns while also catching 18 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

Also on Monday, it was reported that Arkansas tight ends coach Dowell Loggains is set to become the new offensive coordinator at South Carolina.
Loggains previously served as an offensive coordinator in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets.
One other piece of South Carolina news as well:
Gamecocks transfer tight end Jaheim Bell, who entered the portal earlier this month, committed to Florida State on Monday.
It sounds like there are a lot of changes underway in Columbia. It'll be interesting to see if Shane Beamer and South Carolina can pick up where they left off in 2022.
