Former Tennessee Vols standout Josh Malone, who spent some time with the Tennessee Titans earlier this season, has a new employer as of Tuesday.

According to ESPN's Brooke Pryor, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Malone to their practice squad this week.

Malone spent three seasons at Tennessee before declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft and forgoing his final season of eligibility.

(He caught 50 passes for 972 yards and 11 touchdowns during his final season with the Vols.)

The Tennessee native was drafted in the fourth round (No. 128 overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals. Malone spent two seasons with the Bengals. He's also spent time with the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, and the Green Bay Packers, in addition to his brief stint with the Titans earlier this season.

Malone has 11 receptions for 91 yards and one touchdown in his NFL career. His last regular season appearance came in 2020 with the Jets.
