Williams-Thomas signed with the Vols as a four-star running back during the 2022 recruiting cycle.

The Georgia native played sparingly as a true freshman for the Vols, rushing for 37 yards on 11 carries.

Williams-Thomas was a player that many felt could contribute at Tennessee as a true freshman. But the emergence of Dylan Sampson, combined with the presence of Jabari Small and Jaylen Wright, essentially buried Williams-Thomas on the depth chart.

The talented running back will look for a fresh start on the west coast.
