Broncos Wilson shoulder injury

The Denver Broncos are dealing with injury problems once again. This season hasn’t started the way they wished, and now the injury bug has made its return to Denver.

Of course, we know about receiver Tim Patrick, who tore his ACL in training camp. Now, Javonte Williams, the starting running back, is done for the seasons, too.

We knew that before Thursday Night Football, though. After the game more injuries were announced to very important players.

Offensive lineman Garrett Bolles now has a broken leg, while cornerback Ronald Darby has a torn ACL.

And, as of Saturday, the injuries just won’t stop coming, as starting quarterback Russell Wilson is also dealing with something.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Wilson spent Friday in LA getting procedure done on his shoulder that will hopefully help improve discomfort he is currently having. Another layer is added since the procedure was on Wilson's throwing shoulder.

Per Yahoo! Sports' Liz Roscher, Wilson received an injection that will help relieve the pain near his shoulder. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wilson has a partially torn lat that was discovered during the second quarter of the Broncos' Week 4 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Schefter also notes Wilson won't need surgery to repair the injury and he is expected to play on Monday Night Football in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

We will provide more updates as they come in.
