The Philadelphia Eagles have been running an explosive offense without their best tight end Dallas Goedert. Could you imagine what it would look like without him?
The offense would be just that much better. Goedert hasn't been out for very long, but since he has the Eagles have come on the last two weeks against some good defenses.
During the Eagles first loss of the season against the Washington Commanders, Goedert was slammed to the ground and ended up hurting his shoulder.
Now, he could be back soon. He gave an update on his status this week.
"That's still up in the air," Goedert said on playing this week.
"But things are trending in the right direction. Got to get out and practice and see what it feels at full speed blocking bigger people than just the trainers. If I was playing them, I could play for sure."
This is great news for the Eagles. Jack Stoll has been great at certain things as he has filled in for Goedert. His run and pass blocking has been great when he has been asked to do so.
But, adding Goedert back into the offense will be better.
