Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had one of his career's best performances this past week.

Early in the game, it was a bit shaky for Dak and the Dallas offense. The Philadelphia Eagles got an early interception return for a touchdown.

Prescott quickly turned it around, though. He threw a touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb in the second quarter. The running game was successful as well.

That being said, the Cowboys trailed at halftime.

Prescott and the offense had to mount a comeback, and the defense had to get necessary stops. They did exactly that.

One play was absolutely a game changer. Everyone watching the game though a punt was coming. Instead, on third and thirty, Prescott hit his new wideout, T.Y. Hilton, for a first down. It was a shocking play by the star quarterback.

It set a new record for Prescott, too. The completion was the longest of his career, based on air yards.

This advanced stat of the week is presented by Boston Scientific!

Prescott is one of the best QBs at pushing the ball downfield.

This type of play almost never occurs in the NFL, though. There aren't many plays in the playbook for third and long, especially not that long.

In order to beat top teams in the league, you must make plays that most others don't make. Prescott did that, and Dallas secured a massive win. He made some personal history in the meantime.

The Cowboys' victory brought their record to 11-4. The Eagles dropped to 13-2.
