The Dallas Cowboys are on a four-game win streak. However, the biggest buzz around them has been whether or not they will sign wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

After hosting Beckham for multiple days recently, the Cowboys didn't make an offer to Beckham, signing veteran T.Y. Hilton earlier this week instead. But, Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones, who is never at a loss for words, ignited the flames on the Beckham situation again on Thursday, claiming something could be on the horizon between both parties.

“Odell’s going to join us,” Jones said, via Jarrett Bell of USA TODAY Sports. “There’s a good chance he will, with the complete goal of getting ready for a playoff game or two, and then I’ll look to the future. But most of it is about now.”

Beckham tore his ACL during Super Bowl 56 this past February, after looking like the best player on the field beforehand. Beckham's efforts helped the Rams win a championship, and Jones is hoping he can have a similar effect in Dallas.

“I’m hopeful we can get into some important games and have some Deion Sanders-type results,” Jones said. “Could this be possible to have a great player like that get in two or three playoff games and make some significant plays? I think very much so. That’s not an exaggerated thought at all."

It's no secret that Stephen Jones, Jerry's son, has been the man overseeing the finances for the Cowboys for quite some time, and his style is more of a conservative one. When it comes to getting Beckham on the roster, the elder Jones appears to be taking the bull by the horns.

According to Bell, Jones said a deal for Beckham may be finalized after the Cowboys' game versus the Jaguars on Sunday. If Jerry is driving the bus, that could be the case due to his business savvy.

One thing is for certain, the football will be watching.
