The Philadelphia Eagles are still one of the best teams in the league and by many people's standards, the best team in the league.
The way the Eagles started the season has not been similar to the way it has gone the last few weeks. The Eagles had the best turnover differential for most of the season, but I'm afraid we can see that is no longer the case.
One of the Eagles' biggest problems as of late has been turning the ball over. They are still forcing turnovers like they were at the beginning of the season, they just aren't doing the other part, which is keeping the ball in their hands.
This problem isn't making head coach Nick Sirianni too happy either.
"You're pissed," Sirianni said. "You're pissed because it always starts with us as coaches …We're going to make some adjustments to how we drill it. We did this same thing after the Washington game. We were drilling it a certain way and we added a little more reps."
The Eagles still have the second-highest turnover differential in the league at +9, per The Football Database. The Dallas Cowboys hold the top spot at +12.
Over the last two games, they have seven turnovers and have forced just two. They had four to the Cowboys and three to the Bears.
This is definitely an issue the Eagles will need to get fixed before the playoffs start. I mean, heck, they need to get it fixed now. If they don't it looks like Sirianni is libel to lose his cool.
