There's nothing quite like a Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles rivalry week.

That holds true no matter what the situation is for either of these teams but it's particularly exciting in 2022. The Eagles will attempt to defend their perfect record from the ravenous pass rush of the Cowboys. On the other side, Dallas will seek yet another win without Dak Prescott.

You've got to love it.

Based on win-loss records, the NFC East is the best division in football. Under the lights of Sunday Night Football, this is poised to be a huge game for both sides.

Jerry Jones – an oilman at first but a marketer at heart – did a fantastic job summing up the excitement for this game. On Tuesday morning, the Cowboys' owner appeared on 105.3 The Fan to discuss the hype heading into the game.

He started off by praising the Eagles, which they definitely deserve. As Jones puts it, "they've got the goods."

Right after acknowledging it's a tough match-up for them, Jones pointed out his confidence in winning the pivotal game. Claiming he's never felt better about going into Philadelphia is a bold statement from the Cowboys' owner.

"It's called mojo," he said. Can you blame him?

This Cowboys' defense has shown time and time again it can take over games. And the reality is, though real, the Eagles haven't been the most consistent attack in the NFL. They've got great talent but it's not like they haven't had rough moments. At one point, they trailed the Jacksonville Jaguars 14-0 in Week 4.

Last weekend, the Cowboys were 5.5-point underdogs against the Los Angeles Rams. They beat them outright. This time, they're also 5.5-point underdogs against the Eagles.

"We're nobody's underdog," said head coach Mike McCarthy prior to last week's 22-10 win.

At 4-1, they've backed up that claim. Buckle up, this should be a good one.
