I think we can all agree that we miss Sean Peyton coaching the New Orleans Saints. In my opinion, if he was coaching this exact same team, the Saints would be in first place in the NFC South.

That's not saying much, considering every team's records, but hey, it would definitely be better. Peyton is a far better coach than what Dennis Allen has shown so far, and no one in their right mind would argue that.

However, there is one Falcons coach, ahead of the Falcons-Saints matchup, that doesn't think much has changed between the team with Peyton and the team with Allen.

“They’ve been together for so long. Everybody always has their own tweak to whatever it is, but I still think the crux of their offense isn’t going to change a whole lot. He’s not going to all of a sudden become a run-and-shoot guy or something. It will be similar," Falcons' defensive coordinator Dean Pees said in early September.

"I’m sure he’ll have his little things that he’s probably always wanted to do over the years but couldn’t. All coordinators are like that. We kind of have these little things in the back that, ‘Man, I always wanted to do this and now I’m going to do it,’ but, those guys have bought into a system down there. They’ve been very successful with that system. Why wouldn’t you keep the same system?”

Some of that is certainly true, like the fact that the defensive scheme is probably going to be the same. Dennis Allen was the defensive coordinator last season, and some years before that, so there hasn't been much change in that area.

However, we have seen a huge change in the way the offense is ran, but that could also be because the Saints no longer have Drew Brees.

The offense doesn't use the right personnel at times with Taysom Hill, and sometimes it's so apparent they need to use him more. The same could be said about Rashid Shaheed.

The offense has been terrible at times, and I honestly think it would be better with Peyton as the head coach. However, he isn't coming back, so for now it looks like we are stuck with Allen.
