The Chicago Bears cruised to their second win of the preseason on Thursday night.
Chicago opened up a 17-0 lead in the first half against the Seattle Seahawks, eventually leaving Lumen Field with a 27-11 win.
While Bears fans are undoubtedly happy about the win, I can understand if there are some concerns after watching Chicago play on Thursday night.
That's mainly because quarterback Justin Fields was on the move a lot during his short time on the field.
Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy did a nice job of using Fields' athleticism to help offset the struggles of the offensive line. But it's clear from the win against Seattle that protecting Fields is going to be a major concern this season.
And for a lot of Chicago fans, that was probably the major takeaway from the victory.

But I think there's something very important that Bears fans need to remember.
This is only the beginning of the Matt Eberflus era. This is nowhere close to the vision he has for Chicago moving forward. It's just the start.
On Thursday night, we saw a Bears team that was flying around the field, playing aggressively. It might not have been pretty at all times, but we saw the intense effort that Eberflus demands from his players.
That's the main reason Eberflus was hired to lead this franchise — because he can get the Bears to play with the old-school mentality that's been missing in Chicago.
This season is about laying the foundation. It's about getting players to buy in and making steady progress throughout the season.
The Bears don't have the roster to compete with the Green Bay Packers for the NFC North division title right now. But that will come in the not-so-distant future. And when that talent shows up — via free agency and the draft — there will already be an established culture in place that will allow Chicago to quickly compete for championships.
Eberflus has a lot to work on. The Bears have plenty of issues. But we saw the beginning of something special on Thursday night. Chicago fans just need to trust the process.
