The New Orleans Saints have had one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL for many of the last twenty seasons.
This season, they are getting it done again. Albeit, it has been in different ways. Regardless, they have been quite efficient.
It isn't the times of Drew Brees and Sean Payton, but Alvin Kamara and Pete Carmichael Jr. are putting up numbers.
The Saints own one of the most mind-boggling offensive records in the NFL.
They have not been shut out in 329 games.
The last time the Saints were shutout many of their fans weren't born yet. I was only one year old at the time.
The 49ers handed the Saints their last shoutout defeat.
That came on January 6th, 2002. San Francisco beat New Orleans 38-0. That's a day that the Saints would surely like to forget.
Also, keep in mind that New Orleans has forced two shutouts over the past two seasons.
They shutout the Raiders by a score of 24-0 yesterday. Last season, the Saints famously shut out Tom Brady and the Buccaneers 9-0.
