The Philadelphia Eagles will have some decisions to make after their final preseason game.

Specifically, the Eagles have to decide which wide receivers they'll be keeping.

According to 94WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks, wide receiver Greg Ward could be a "surprise addition" to Philadelphia's final 53-man roster.

Shorr-Parks pointed out that Ward is a reliable wide receiver who can also return punts.

Ward showed he contribute in 2020, catching 53 passes for 419 yards and six touchdowns.

Last season, however, Ward didn't make much of an impact, catching just seven passes for 95 yards and three touchdowns while playing in all 17 games.

It appeared that Ward fell out of favor with the Eagles' new staff that was hired ahead of the 2021 season.

That's why it's hard for me to see the Eagles keeping Ward (combined with the fact that he's been banged up).

The only way I can see Philly keeping Ward is if they trade Jalen Reagor before the start of the 2022 season — which is certainly possible. Reagor, a former first-round draft pick, didn't make much of an impact last season either, but he was used more than Ward. He'll likely make the roster ahead of Ward.

There's been some talk that Reagor could be moved before the start of the season, so it wouldn't be shocking to see Philly make a deal with a wide receiver needy team.
