Most of the Pittsburgh Steelers' season moving forward will be all about figuring out who Kenny Pickett really is. With the Steelers expected to pick in the Top 15 of next year's NFL Draft, they could be in the range of picking one of the many talented quarterbacks slated to be available.
Sure, Pickett looks like a guy worth betting on for the future but to not even acknowledge the possibility of picking a QB would be failing to go through due diligence.
There's still a lot Pickett has to prove with the Steelers. In the process, everyone seems to be chiming in on the guy trying to fill the shoes of Ben Roethlisberger.
But one guy that just watched Pickett play close seems to believe Pittsburgh has found their guy. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
"I was very impressed with the way (Kenny) moved the ball in the first half," Burrow told Colin Cowherd in a recent interview for The Volume. "He made some big-time plays really the whole game."
"I told him after the game, you know, just try to build off of this one because I was impressed with what I saw."
Burrow anticipates Bengals – Steelers will remain a complicated one even as his rival goes through a rebuilding year.
"They got a lot of good young pieces on that offense that they can build around."
