That Dallas Cowboys' win over the Los Angeles Rams was all about Dan Quinn's defense. The unit put together a remarkable performance against the defending Super Bowl Champions that earned the team its fourth consecutive win.

The defensive coordinator knows very well it's his unit putting in the dirty work. His reaction after the game was as great as it gets. The coach that's earned the love of his players was fired up as he snuck up behind The Athletic's Jon Machota and let out a loud victory yell.

To be honest, it resembled more of a battle cry. You can watch the clip below.

The best part of the video is what comes next. The Cowboys' defensive coordinator meets every player and coach entering the locker room and embraces safety Jayron Kearse while the two share some words. On Sunday, the veteran safety made his return to action after missing multiple games with a knee injury.

Quinn is an awesome figure for the Cowboys. He's the same coach that was quoted saying he was "having a blast" coaching the defense last year and that stuck around for another year despite receiving head coach interest from around the league.

Players consistently talk about him being a great teacher and a "player's coach."

Perhaps Quinn knows he's earning future money with this kind of performance on national TV. Or maybe it's just what it seems to the naked eye. An NFL coach having some fun coaching a defense built to his liking with several defensive stars and arguably the best defender in football right now in Micah Parsons.

The Cowboys finished the game with five sacks, 11 QB hits, two forced fumbles, six tackles for loss, and two pass deflections. They held the Rams to 10 points, all of which came in the first half.

This is a championship-caliber unit. Quinn has every reason to be fired up.

Meanwhile, Cowboys Nation should be even more fired up to have Quinn. Some are calling it the best hire by the team in decades. It's hard to disagree. Jerry Jones should be getting ready to open that wallet for Quinn next offseason to at least try to get him to stick around.
