Pittsburgh Steelers football is back and with it are gameday inactive lists.

Fortunately, the Steelers' Week 1 list doesn't feature any surprises. Starters Diontae Johnson and Chukwuma Okorafor are both ready to go after being on the injury report during the week.

Here are the inactive players for the Steelers:

  • QB Mason Rudolph
  • OL Kendrick Green
  • WR Steven Sims
  • DE Isaiah Loudermilk
  • LB Mark Robinson

The most notable name on the list is Mason Rudolph, who was already confirmed as the third-string quarterback on the team. Suiting up three quarterbacks for gameday is definitely unnecessary. It will be Kenny Pickett going through the QB2 motions versus the Cincinnati Bengals, which should be the next part of his development.

Offensive lineman Kendrick Green is also inactive. Although unsurprising given his level of play, it's quite the development as just a month ago he was projected to start.

As for the Cincinnati Bengals, here are the inactives:

  • TE Devin Asiasi
  • OT D’Ante Smith
  • OG Max Scharping
  • DT Jay Tufele
  • RB Trayveon Williams
