2021 three-star defensive lineman Isaac Washington tweeted on Tuesday that he'll be visiting the Tennessee Vols this weekend.
Washington, 6-foot-3/268 lbs from Pilot Mountain, NC, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 31 player in the state of North Carolina and the No. 37 defensive tackle in the nation.
The North Carolina native committed to Tennessee in late January after a visit, but he decommitted on February 25 after defensive line coach Tracy Rocker left UT for the same position with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Despite his recent decommitment, I wouldn't be shocked if Washington gets back in the boat with Tennessee after his upcoming visit.
Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt hired new defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh in part to help Tennessee's recruiting efforts with defensive linemen.
If Brumbaugh and Washington hit it off this weekend, it's certainly possible the talented defensive lineman could be back on Tennessee's commit list.
The Vols currently have five players committed to their 2021 recruiting class.
