Tennessee baseball showed everyone this past weekend that their quick start to the season isn't a fluke.
The Vols swept the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford.
Ole Miss entered the weekend as the perceived best team in the nation. They exited the weekend with a lot of questions about their team.
Tennessee baseball exposed some flaws for Ole Miss. And Rebels fans aren't handling that well.
There seem to be quite a few Ole Miss fans on social media that now want Rebels head coach Mike Bianco fired. And they want Ole Miss to then hire Vols head coach Tony Vitello.
Bianco, who played college baseball at LSU, isn't getting fired anytime soon. He's been the head coach at Ole Miss since 2001.
The Rebels always have a solid team with Bianco at the helm. And this Ole Miss team, despite getting swept by Tennessee, is still a really good team. The Vols just happen to be better.
Tennessee has Ole Miss fans all out of sorts after this past weekend. Bianco isn't going anywhere and even if there was an opening, there's no chance Vitello is leaving UT for Ole Miss (he already passed on LSU).
It must be fun for Vols fans to be on this side of the fence for a change.
