The official Tennessee basketball Twitter account had some fun on Friday at the expense of Vols foward John Fulkerson.

Fulkerson is a player that Tennessee fans will always remember, thanks to his lengthy stay on Rocky Top and the fact that he's from nearby Kingsport, TN.

The Tennessee native spent six seasons with the Volunteers. He signed his National Letter of Intent way back in 2015 (he's seen a lot when it comes to UT athletics).

Fulkerson celebrated a birthday on Friday and the Tennessee Twitter account sent him some birthday wishes while suggesting that former Vol was turning 43.

Give that social media person a raise — that's tremendous content. And it's hilarious.

Fulkerson was actually born in 1997, so he turned 25 years old on Friday.

It's definitely going to be strange next season watching a Tennessee basketball game without Fulkerson on the roster. The last time the Vols played a game without Fulkerson, Barack Obama was the president, Butch Jones was Tennessee's head football coach, Game of Thrones was the best show on TV, no one knew who Joe Burrow was, and current UT football head coach Josh Heupel had just been hired as the offensive coordinator at Missouri.

In other words, plenty has changed since the last time we saw a Vols hoops game that didn't involve John Fulkerson.
