Former Tennessee Titans linebacker Rashaan Evans will be playing for a new team in 2022.
Evans is reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
Evans, who was selected by Tennessee with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, will be reunited in Atlanta with several former Titans employees.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota, who played for the Titans from 2015 to 2019, signed with the Falcons earlier this offseason.
Atlanta's head coach is Arthur Smith, who was an assistant with the Titans from 2011 to 2019.
And the Falcons' defensive coordinator is Dean Pees, who was Evans' defensive coordinator in Nashville for two years (2018 and 2019).
Atlanta is slowly turning into the NFC's version of the Titans. It's a bold strategy, considering Mariota and Evans are two players that Tennessee decided to not bring back to Nashville. Though maybe they'll find new life with the Falcons.
Evans, a former Alabama standout, had 317 total tackles and three sacks during his four seasons with the Titans.
