Tennessee Titans fans are far too familiar with the injury bug that has plagued wide receiver Julio Jones throughout the years, and it's already biting him in 2022 with his new team.

The 33-year old wide out was massive disappointment in Tennessee for the 2021 season due to injuries, and Jones is already missing time, just one game into his tenure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs officially determined that Jones would be inactive for their game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday due to a knee injury.

The story all training camp was that Jones was looking more like his old self, and was usually one of the fastest players on the field for the Bucs.

That speed carried over to the regular season, as Jones was clocked at over 20 miles per hour during the Bucs victory over Dallas in Week 1.

The hope and expectation that Jones could be a game changer in the Bucs offense is already looking bleak.

It's hard to say exactly when Jones suffered his injury, but most believe that the 48-yard reception (when he reached his top speed) is also when Jones hurt his knee.

It may be time to accept that Julio Jones will never return to his superstar form of old.
