Free agency is less than two weeks away in the NFL, and the Tennessee Titans will have a handful of tough decisions to make.

Here's a list of the impending free agents who the Titans should avoid re-signing.

This list isn't exhaustive; in other words, a player not being on this list doesn't mean the Titans should definitely re-sign that player. Rather, this list is intended to highlight players the team definitely needs to move on from.

LB Jayon Brown: Brown was a savvy fifth-round pick in 2017 and played a lot of good football for the Titans over the first three years of his career. His fourth season was marred by injury, though, and he was a healthy scratch by the end of his fifth.

TE Anthony Firkser: Firkser was, arguably, the Titans' biggest disappointment in 2021. Expected to make a leap as the team's primary tight end, he regressed significantly. Previously a go-to guy for Ryan Tannehill in the red zone and on third downs, Firkser was invisible throughout most of last season. If he returns to form, it should be with another team.

LB Rashaan Evans: Following a promising first two seasons, Evans devolved into somewhat of a liability in 2020 and 2021. He consistently struggled to diagnose run plays, and his pass coverage was subpar, at best. Evans' inability to choose the correct gap against the run led to him becoming somewhat of a running joke among fans. He's a candidate to get overpaid because of his drafts status.

TE Geoff Swaim: One of the slowest pass-catchers in the NFL, Swaim doesn't offer a whole lot aside from his impressive frame. He's not nearly the quality of blocker that many make him out to be.

WR Chester Rogers: Rogers was strong throughout Training Camp and the preseason in 2021. That strength completely vanished when the regular season began. Rogers added little value as a punt returner, and his most memorable play on offense occurred when he dropped a pass that deflected off of his chest into the arms of a Texans defender.

Tennessee needs to find better receivers this offseason.

TE MyCole Pruitt: Pruitt was the strongest of the Titans' tight ends in 2021. Unfortunately, that wasn't exactly a grand accomplishment considering TE was the team's weakest position by a long shot.

Pruitt is very much a rosterable player who can help an offense, but his 2021 season ended with a severe ankle injury and he likely won't be ready for the start of 2022. The Titans would do well to completely start over at tight end this season, and letting Pruitt go would be part of that.

FB Khari Blasingame (RFA): The Titans shouldn't tender Blasingame. Tory Carter proved to be a better fullback in 2021.

OT David Quessenberry (RFA): Quessenberry wasn't a disaster as the Titans' starting right tackle in 2021, but he also wasn't anywhere close to a success. He gave up a whopping 11 sacks, more than any other NFL offensive tackle. Tennessee needs to find someone else to play that spot and leave Quessenberry untendered.
