Lewis is rated by 247Sports as the No. 8 player in the state of Florida and the No. 3 outside linebacker in the nation.

The Florida native is described by 247Sports as a linebacker who exhibits "great instincts and closing speed". They also predict that Lewis will eventually be a second or third round selection in the NFL draft.

Lewis, who was previously committed to Florida, told Rivals last month that Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia are the schools standing out to him. But he's planning to take more visits once the recruiting dead period ends.

The Vols currently have three players committed to their 2021 recruiting class.
