It's only June 1, but there's already drama surrounding the Tennessee Titans' first-round draft pick, wide receiver Treylon Burks.

The former Arkansas wide receiver left his first minicamp practice back in May after overheating.

Adding to the drama was a report this week from MMQB's Albert Breer.

Breer noted that Burks has had some weight issues and "labored" through some pre-draft private workouts.

From SI:

A couple weeks ago, we went over his weight issue in the MAQB, and how it was there for some pre-draft private workouts. I’ve also heard he labored to get through some of those, which was a red flag for certain teams. We’ll see what sort of shape he’s gotten himself into since.

On Wednesday, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel addressed the report and the issues that Burks had earlier in minicamp.

"We're excited to have Treylon," said Vrabel after asking who reported on Burks' pre-draft issues.

"He's gotten better each day that he's been here — let Albert [Breer] know," added Vrabel.

Earlier on Wednesday, Burks was asked by a reporter about using an inhaler during minicamps. Burks declined to answer the question and told reporters to ask Vrabel about the inhaler.

When Vrabel was asked later about the inhaler, he downplayed it being an issue.

"Some guys need inhalers," said Vrabel. "Carter (Vrabel's son) used one before and his brother didn't. I just rely on the trainer and the medical staff to take care of these guys and communicate with me. I feel like everyone here has gotten in better shape."

Burks missed two reps in a wide receiver drill on Wednesday. There's still plenty of time for Burks to get into game shape. While the early struggles aren't ideal, they shouldn't lead us to any long-term conclusions about Burks' future in the NFL.
